W-340 (CW106C)

Copper Chromium Zirconium (CuCrZr).

W-340 is a copper alloy with high strength values along with high thermal and electric conductivity. This alloy also have good resistance against softening at high temperatures. A common area of use is for example welding electrodes.

Areas of use
Welding electrodes, casting moulds for steel and aluminium casting, electrical components and connectors, turbine components in contact with high temperatures etc.
