CW713R

High tensile brass (CuZn37Mn3Al2PbSi).

CW 713R is a high tensile brass which is alloyed with aluminum, manganese and silicon etc. By alloying brass with strength-increasing elements, you get an alloy that is almost as hard as aluminum bronze, but considerably easier to process. The material also has good corrosion and wear resistance.

Areas of use
Bearings for high load, slide- & wear-plates, valve guides, piston parts etc.

Shapes & forms
Solid round bars, tubes hexagonal bars, flat bars
